Go to WhatsApp, click Settings and then tap Account.
Next, click Privacy.
You can then turn either Require touch ID or Face ID on.
You’ll also be given the option to choose how long WhatsApp can be on standby mode for – before requiring Touch ID or Face ID.
This can be disabled at any moment by going into WhatsApp Settings.
If unlock fails, your iPhone password will allow you to gain access.
WhatsApp will now allow you to activate the Android fingerprint lock
“As an additional privacy measure, you can prompt fingerprint lock when you open WhatsApp on your phone,” WhatsApp:
“When this is enabled, you’ll have to use your fingerprint to access the app.”
First, go into WhatsApp and then tap More Options – or the three dots.
Next, go to Settings and then Account.
Scroll all the way down and tap Fingerprint lock.
