Officials have confirmed that a woman died in an accident involving several vehicles and a fire truck in North Hills, on Thursday.
A vehicle was travelling east on Roscoe Boulevard just after midnight when it struck a vehicle. According to Los Angeles Police Department, the driver continued driving.
The driver hit another vehicle that was carrying a 76-year old woman. She was declared dead at the scene.
The driver continued to drive and eventually struck an engine from the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It is unknown if other injuries were reported, or if arrests have been made.
Video footage from the scene showed vehicles and debris that had been heavily damaged.
