Victims drive themselves to the hospital after they were shot outside West L.A.’s hookah lounge

Two people were shot in the early morning hours of Monday at a West Los Angeles hookah bar. An investigation has begun.

Police responded at 1:40 AM to a shooting call near Byblos Mediterranean Restaurant & Hookah Bar, located in the 1900 block Westwood Boulevard.

Los Angeles Police Department stated that investigators found out that two gunshot victims called police after driving to UCLA Medical Center.

The condition of the victims was not disclosed.

Multiple shell casings were found in the street just outside the restaurant, as evidenced by video.

During the investigation Westwood Boulevard was temporarily closed between La Grange Avenue, Missouri Avenue.

Authorities have not released any information about the gunman, gunmen, or vehicles that might have been involved in this incident.
