US government urges all Apple users to upgrade now, as the tech giant has released security patches for several devices

All Apple smartphone users are advised to update their devices by the United States government.

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), issued a warning to all Apple users on Friday.

This agency is responsible to defend against cyber threats and build a more resilient infrastructure.

“Apple has released security updates to address vulnerabilities in multiple products,”Their statement was read.

“These updates address vulnerabilities attackers could exploit to take control of affected systems,”CISA has been added.

“CISA encourages users and administrators to review the Apple security updates and apply necessary releases.”

What security updates are available?

Apple has released a comprehensive list of security updates to its products, ranging from iPhones and Apple Watches, on July 20.

Safari 15.6 is now available for macOS Big Sur users and macOS Catalina customers.

iOS 15.6, a new operating system for iPhones and iPads, has just been released.

This update applies to iPhone 6s and older, iPad Pro (all versions), iPad Air 2 & later, iPad Air 3 & later, iPad Air 5th generation & later, iPad Air 2 & later, iPad Air 4 ad later, iPad mini 4 ad later, iPod touch (7thgeneration).

WatchOS 8.7, available for Apple Watches Series 3 or later, is now available.
