After an investigation into Sunday’s suspicious package, the airport police determined that Terminal 3 at LAX was safe to reopen.
LAX announced at 10.27 p.m. that traffic was going to be disrupted after a suspicious package near Terminal 3 was reported.
During the investigation, traffic to the upper level for departures was disrupted and the lower level used for pick up and drop off.
“Consider using the lower level during this time if dropping off or picking up,”LAX made the statement in a Twitter.
As police continued to investigate, heavy traffic and delays were to expect.
Around 11:44 pm, police declared it safe to open Terminal 3. Traffic would resume normal operations.
