Actor and TV host Terrence JThe government wants all businesses to catch up with the times and count Juneteenth as a day off from the office.
Terrence attended a Juneteenth Foundation event in D.C. on Thursday. He said he believes that companies who are struggling need to step up — noting that the federal holiday is an important part of American culture.
He said companies should take a step back and see where society is at the moment to understand why it’s important. June 19th marks the 2nd anniversary of federal recognition. However, not all companies are counting it as a day away.
