Sun Valley police shut down street takeover



On Thursday night, police broke up a street robbery in Sun Valley. They detained 15 people and tow cars away.

According to Officer Madison, Los Angeles Police Department, the police responded quickly and detained participants and issued citations.

Madison reported that there were eight cars on the roadway at Roscoe Boulevard, Sheldon Street when police arrived. Madison also stated that one participant was even equipped with a flamethrower.

Aerial footage from Sky5 showed multiple LAPD vehicles trapping some of the participants’ cars, which were being loaded onto tow trucks.
