Rebecca Balding, “Soap” “Charmed” Actress, Dies at 73 – Los Angeles

Rebecca Balding, an actress best known for her work in on “Soap”Original “Charmed,”According to James L Conway, her husband and writer, she died after a long battle with ovarian carcinoma.

Balding was born in Arkansas and studied acting at the University of Kansas. She then moved to Chicago to begin her acting career.

After spending some time in Chicago she moved to Hollywood, where she was offered her first TV role in 1976’s “The View.” “The Bionic Woman.”After several guest appearances, Carol David was her most well-known role in the ABC series. “Soap” in 19 episodes from 1978 to 1980, and Elise Rothman, Phoebe’s (Alyssa Milano) boss, in the 1998 show “Charmed.”

Balding also made an appearance on “Home Improvement,” “Beverly Hills 90210,” “7th Heaven,” “Family Ties,” “Melrose Place,” “Hotel,”You can find out more.

Her horror films were also well-known. “The Silent Scream,”Scotty Parker, “The Boogens,”Trish Michaels, her husband, directed it.

“Rebecca Balding was not only a wonderful actress, she was such a good person,” Milano wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the two, “Charmed was my favorite show. “I have so many fond memories of Rebecca dancing with her husband Jim at our wrap parties!”

Balding is survived by her husband, her daughters, Sarah and Kathleen, and her grandchildren.
