Six people were hurt in a car accident Sunday night in Los Angeles’ Pacoima neighborhood.
According to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department, Margaret Stewart, the accident was reported at 10 :29 p.m. at 13035 Van Nuys Boulevard, near Bradley Avenue.
Stewart explained that firefighters used hydraulic tools in order to rescue one patient from the wreckage.
She said that four of the five patients were women between 20 and 30 years old. Paramedics took two of the patients to a hospital where they were in critical condition. Three were treated for minor injuries. The sixth patient seemed to have fled the scene and not received medical attention.
Stewart indicated that an investigation was underway into the cause of the crash.
