Oxnard station: Man and woman shot to death

Oxnard police are investigating two bodies found at a station on Sunday morning.

Two people were reported to police by the Oxnard Transportation Center, 201 East Fourth St. at 6:30 a.m. as unresponsive and bleeding.

Police arrived on the scene to find a 66 year-old man and a 34-year old woman shot to death. They were found on a bench near the tracks, and police believe they died hours earlier than their bodies were discovered.

Two victims’ names have not been released.

The Oxnard Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation and is asking anyone who may have seen or heard something to come forward.
