Oxnard fire station ravaged by gunfire

Oxnard police are investigating after a Oxnard Fire Department station was attacked on Sunday morning.

Fire Station 3 at150 Hill Street received multiple shots of gunfire around 1:25 am Sunday, according the Fire Department.

The Fire Department Shared imagesBullet holes, bullet casings, and bullets embedded in the station’s wall.

Numerous bullets were lodged in walls and windows by entering through broken windows. One of the bullet holes was located directly above the cot in which a firefighter was sleeping at the time.

The Department stated that no firefighters were hurt and that police are currently investigating the shooting.
