North Hollywood fire causes damage to roof of commercial building: LAFD

On Saturday, the Los Angeles Fire Department investigated a fire at a North Hollywood commercial building.

The fire in the 6800 block Troost Avenue was put out by 80 firefighters who spent an hour and 46 min putting the flames out. LAFD stated in an alert.

Shortly into the battle, the building’s roof collapsed, forcing firefighters to exit the structure, though no injuries were reported, the LAFD.

The LAFD Arson Team is present on the scene to investigate “per protocol for a Greater Alarm fire,”According to the Fire Department, firefighters will be there Saturday night to extinguish hot spots.
