Some of the outages have affected users worldwide.

People have also been complaining about issues with Google, Slack, Facebook, EA and Call of Duty.

Reports of Facebook going down started earlier today at around 8am ET.

It could be due to a server issue or a problem with the devices that people are using to try and access these online platforms.

Thousands of users are reporting issues with Amazon Web Services, which went down earlier today and impacted several websites.

Over 20,000 reports of issues with the server where on Downdetctor at around 10:40am ET.

Amazon has confirmed to us that there was a brief issue with AWS in two regions but it claims those problems have now been fixed.

AWS provides cloud services to several of the most popular brands including Netflix, Hulu, Tinder and Disney+.

That’s why an issue with Amazon’s servers can mean several of your favourite apps stop working.

Facebook’s issues still remain a mystery and we are awaiting comment.

While reports of issues with AWS drop off, hundreds of users are still complaining that they can’t login to the social network.

Reports of issues are coming from several places in the US.

One user said: “Facebook log in error in Columbia, Mo.”

Another said: “Login error here too. Watertown Wisconsin.”

Another replied: “Live in Houston and I can’t login in either of my FB accounts this morning.

“The 2nd account I never use and it’s under a different email address.”

Several Facebook users have also complained about issues on Twitter.

One person posted a screen recorded video demonstrating that when they click on their Facebook app it just shows a blank white screen.
