Mexican Consulate in LA to Provide Day of Medical Services for Homeless People – Los Angeles

Los Angeles County residents will be able to receive free medical services from the General Consulate of Mexico.

The event will take places on Wednesday, 5/11 between 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM at the Consulate headquarters. 2401 W. 6th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90057.

Thanks to the combined efforts of Clinica Monsenor Oscar Oscar and Consulate’s Health Window, these services are now available. A Romero community health center.

You don’t need to make an appointment to receive these services. These services are not only for Spanish-speaking people. Anyone can call the Mexican Consulate to get assistance in English.

Services include:

  • Consultations for medical purposesThese services are available to those who are homeless, live in shelters or don’t have a fixed home. 
  • Enrollment in health coverage programsAll, regardless their immigration status, will have access to the services.
  • Vaccines against COVID-19Over 5 year olds will receive the following: pediatric doses, second and third doses, booster shots, first and second booster shots, and first booster shots. Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are available.
