Viewers who tuned in to BBC’s The One Show were shocked when Matt Lucas showed off his remarkable weight loss.
The 48-year old Little Britain star was quite different in his conversation on Thursday night’s evening program.
He appeared on the program with his mother to talk about his appearance on BBC’s Who Do You Think You are, which reveals his family’s surprising connection to Anne Frank.
He wore a button-up shirt and a navy suit to the Great British Bake Off.
His weight loss amazed viewers who took to social media and commented on his transformation.

Matt impressed The Great British Bake Off viewers with his remarkable weight loss during his appearance at the National Television Awards last season.
The Channel 4 Bake Off programme won the Best Challenge Show Award in September. Matt, Noel Fielding, and Prue Leith joined by video link as judges Prue Hollywood and Prue Leith.

Matt thanked his costars for their support and accepted the award. “so welcome”However, it was again his weight that had fans talking. One tweeted the night of the show about this: “Bloody hell @RealMattLucas has lost so much weight, well done him.”
Matt spoke highly of Matt’s appearance: “I lost some weight, I needed to take the edge of, because I put on a lot of weight in lockdown. I’ve still got a bit of a tum.
“The one thing I need to do is get fitter, I have put on a little bit of weight, that’s my next challenge to do a bit more exercise.
“I might have to make a game of it when I go out an exercise to stay out of people’s way. I don’t have a garden so I have to find a way to do that.”
The star admitted that he was thin-shamed for the first times several months ago.
