Magnitude-3.5 Earthquake Shakes Parts of Southern California – Los Angeles

A magnitude-3.5 earthquake occurred early Friday in Riverside County. This caused shaking in the Inland Empire, and other parts Southern California.

The earthquake occurred at 6:30 a.m. and was located 6.8 miles southeast of Aguanga, and 19.7 miles southeast of Temecula. It was only one mile in depth.

It was reported that Shaking was reportedFrom Riverside County southward to San Diego, there are communities like Valley Center, Escondido and Palm Springs.

The USGS displays the locations where shaking was reported on Friday, May 13, 2022.

Aguana lies approximately 100 miles southeast from downtown Los Angeles.
