Los Angeles detectives arrested a 50-year-old man last week for engaging in illegal activities. “online sexually explicit communication”A minor victim was found in another state. Investigators are now looking for possible victims.
Joseph Gatt from Los Angeles was taken into custody on Wednesday, April 6th when authorities served a search warrant for his Beverly Grove home.
Investigators from the LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began investigating Gatt after they received a tip that he was engaged in sexually explicit communication with the minor victim.
Police also reported that Gatt had an outstanding warrant for a felony for communication with a minor.
Investigators are currently looking for additional victims that may have not been contacted.
