2 Chainz briefly introduced himself, but quickly handed the mic to Mike Monday… Mike let the Council know that he was there back in May, and was disappointed by the lack of progress on the issue.

He passionately supported his case… for the “public nuisance”The ban targets Black business owners and would effectively erase the city’s cultural identity. This has happened before in NYC, L.A., and Miami.
Mike warned that allowing corporations dominion would spell doom for working class residents and urged Council to reverse course… rather than wait for the public to react.
He also reminded everyone ATL celebs and entertainers fund the city’s immediate efforts so — like a Spike LeeThey should be in partnership — they must do the right things.
2 Chainz rallied support and noticed a few protest signs outside.
