Jerry JonesIt was a lucky escape for him to not sustain serious injuries in Wednesday’s car accident… TMZ SportsVideo of the accident has been obtained by the Dallas Cowboys. It shows that the Dallas Cowboys owner had T-boned a car as it was moving at a very high speed.
According to the video’s time stamp, the crash occurred at 6:10 p.m. It crashed at the intersection of Wolf St. & Harry Hines Blvd. Dallas — approximately 20 miles away the Cowboys team facility.
As a silver car attempted to turn left from a right-lane on a one way road, Jones drove a dark-colored sedan and crashed into it.
Jones managed to get out of his car, and walk towards the other vehicle with its passengers.
As you can see, the clip was taken by Allen Roberson Jr.Jones seemed to have a slight limp. Jones even rolled up his leg to check his knee area. Jones’ car was also left disabled in middle of road.
Jones approached the silver car by foot, and a passenger from the vehicle complained of headaches.
Medical personnel arrived at the scene and took Jones to a local hospital. He was later treated for minor injuries. Jones’ son, Stephen JonesMultiple media outlets were informed late Wednesday night by a representative of Jerry that Jerry was fine and had returned home shortly after being examined at the hospital.
There is no word on whether the passengers in the other vehicle sustained any serious injuries.
The Cowboys have not yet made any public comments on the situation.
