Isabel Roloff, along with the rest of their family, have many followers on Facebook and are therefore subject to all types of criticism and backlash. So, this certainly isn’t the first time that Isabel Roloff has taken the heat.
Isabel Roloff was criticized online for her recent post
Isabel posted a picture on Instagram of the baby formula shelves at her local Whole Foods. This photo was taken in the midst of the United States’ formula shortage. Though there are a few cans on the shelves, there aren’t many and they all appear to be the same brand and type.
She wrote “Also this is a privilege but it is the first time I am learning how EXPENSIVE formula is.”
On Reddit, Little People, Big World Fans and critics alike are discussing the post. Many are calling Isabel Roloff ignorant and privileged. They are trying to figure out how she didn’t know how expensive formula costs. They believe that her privilege is evident from this recent post.
Someone else points this out. “I find it extremely hard to believe she didn’t know formula was expensive…it’s something that never came up in conversations with anyone or reading ‘getting ready for baby’ books.”
Isabel also shared the issue of formula shortage on Instagram Stories and requested that her followers Venmo to her so she can send formula to those in need. This caused controversy among fans. Reddit users point out that she is merely taking formula off shelves and preventing people buying it.
Someone says “Leave it for the people that are searching daily for it.”
