In a series of SoCal robberies, 2 more mini-marts were hit by armed suspects

Police are looking for the armed robbers behind two mini-mart robberies Monday night in Los Angeles’ Eastside.

A clerk at El Sereno 7-Eleven in the 5500 block Valley Boulevard stated that two men entered the store around 10 :40 p.m.

According to the clerk, the men had at least one handgun. They also got away with unspecified cash from the store.

After running into an alleyway nearby, the suspects fled in a vehicle.

It was not immediately possible to provide a description of the suspects and their vehicle.

The same robbery occurred at Arco mini-mart on the 2700 block East Olympic Boulevard in Boyle Heights, less than an hour after.

The store was robbed shortly after it was robbed. However, police did not give any details.

The store’s manager said two men entered the market and approached the cashier with guns and demanded money from the register.

It was not clear if the robberies were related.

These incidents occur just days after another minimart was robbed in Culver city, near the intersection with Overland Avenue & Braddock Drive.

Surveillance video captured the incident. The robber was seen taking cash from a register, while still holding a gun.

Later in the night, the suspect is suspected to have robbed a 7-11 in Montclair’s 4500 block Holt Avenue.

The incident resulted in the clerk being pistol-whipped, but he was not severely injured.
