This year’s Spotify Wrapped is here, enabling users to look at their most-streamed artists, songs, albums, genres, playlists and podcasts over the course of 2021.
This year, the feature has new functions, including a launch date of December 1st. ‘2021: The Movie’It allows users to match their top songs with classic scenes in a film. “that’s all about you”?, and ‘Your Audio Aura’, where an aura expert visualises a listener’s audio aura based on their top two music moods.
Elsewhere, ‘Playing Cards’It is an interactive, data-based video game that users can play and then share with their friends. “We’ll display several statements about your listening this year and you’ll have to guess which are true,”A statement was made.
A new feature is also available: ‘2021 Wrapped Blend’, which allows users to see compare their 2021 music tastes with friends’ tastes, stream a blended playlist and share results on social media. Logging in is required to access your Wrapped data. Here.

Today’s announcement by Bad Bunny revealed that Drake and Taylor Swift have been beaten by Bad Bunny to be Spotify’s most-streamed global artists of the year.
The Puerto Rican artist’s songs were streamed a total of 9.1billion times compared with 8.3billion in 2020. He is followed by Swift, Drake, Justin Bieber and BTS in the top five most-streamed acts.
Drake is however the UK’s most streamed artist.
