Halo InfiniteThe series is back to its original form, offering players great gunplay and a new battle pass-type progression system. Despite the fact that season 1 was extended into May 2022, features were not extensive at launch. As such, there’s been something of a drought in terms of new content, meaning that players are anxiously awaiting the launch of season 2. It’s good news that 343 Industries has plans to add new content.

Halo InfiniteLone Wolves season 2 has been renamed and promises to include new battle passes, additional customisation items and even new maps. 343 Industries hasn’t unveiled things fully just yet, but we do have a teaser trailer to dig into. Halo InfiniteSeason 2 will debut May 3. This will mark nearly six months since season one and will feature tons of new content. We’ll get exact timings closer to the launch date, so stay tuned!

Alongside Season 2 – Lone Wolves Halo InfiniteYou will receive a new battle pass. Here’s all of the new info you need to know:

  • The battle pass will be permanent, meaning it won’t expire on a certain date
  • 100 new tiers of work
  • In the S2 Premium Battle Pass, players can earn 1000 CR
  • Weekly Challenges will continue to improve
  • Ultimate Rewards will include cosmetics of higher value such as visors and coatings. They will also be free from emblems and backdrops throughout the season.


Catalyst and Breaker get new maps

Season 2’s main features are the new maps Catalyst & Breaker. We don’t know too much about them yet, but you can get a glimpse of each in the trailer below. Catalyst can be described as an arena map that features a laser that moves between the sides. Breaker, a BTB map that allows vehicle combat and long-range warfare, is called Breaker.

New modes: King of the Hill, Last Spartan Standing, Land Grab

Since its launch, Halo InfiniteIt has offered limited time modes that are tied to events, and a few core modes. There hasn’t been all that much variety, meaning that new modes are one of the most requested features from the community at present. We know at least three new modes are in the works for season 2. Season 1 of Halo Infinite lasted around six months, it’s fair to assume that 343Season 2 will be cut a bit. We’ve heard in the past that each Halo Infinite season will last three months, so that’s what we’re expecting here. Season 1 was a temporary event, and players didn’t like it. The battle pass will not expire. This means that players can still unlock items long after the second season ends. This is great news for players who want to take their time and enjoy the new content.
