Conor McGregor speaks out about UFC returns as he leaves an adjourned trial case

UFC star Dustin Poirier vents frustration over not being able to book fights.

Poirier has not competed in UFC since losing to Charles Oliveira for the lightweight title last December. “The Diamond” is currently preparing to fight Nate Diaz at welterweight. However, the promotion has moved on.

A fan asked the former interim champion lightweight champ when his next fight would be. He replied: “When they [UFC] stop playing around”.

Poirier could face Conor McGregor, a former two-weight champion. They have fought three times previously, with McGregor breaking his tibia in their last fight.

McGregor’s statement could increase the likelihood of McGregor bringing McGregor back to fight. Mirror FightingHis plans to fight at welterweight when he returns to fighting. Both fighters have been increasing their size in preparation for fights at the weight category.

Responding to a fan, Poirier stated: “probably so”. While discussing his uncertainty about the future, he wrote: “I don’t know what’s going on. I haven’t heard anything from anyone in the last 2 months.”

“It’s about holding these guys accountable, I didn’t have to use Dustin’s name. He used my name in interviews to add value to his fights, if he wouldn’t have used my name I never would have talked about him,”Covington spoke Submit Radio.

Colby Covington, his former teammate, is another potential opponent for Poirier when he returns to the ring. They have fought before, and Covington stated that Poirier must fight him first if he wants to make a run for the title at 170-pounds.

“His coaches are saying that he’s going to better welterweight than he was lightweight, so why is he trying to pick on the guy in the corner that has a lisp, that’s mentally handicapped and crippled. Nate Diaz shouldn’t even be fighting anymore.

“Dustin Poirier is looking to fight Nate Diaz the crippled dude with a lisp. I am the number one man in the division. You must go through me to get the title. “I am the title.”
