California Highway Patrol officers were following a vehicle that led them through several counties on Saturday night.
The Escondido Police Department first reported the chase in San Diego County.
The driver was believed to have been a woman and made her way to Corona where Riverside County Police took over the chase.
The pursuit continued eastbound on the 91 Freeway into Orange County, passing through Yorba Linda as well as Anaheim.
The driver crossed the 5 Freeway and headed into Long Beach and LA County.
After reaching LA County the helicopter of the Los Angeles Sheriff took over the chase.
The driver arrived in Compton and entered a mobile home park. After driving through narrow streets, the driver stopped right in front of a house.
Officers confronted the driver and she calmly walked away from the car.
The driver was taken into custody.
