Don Moore takes Floyd Mayweather to the finish in an exhibition fight

Moore, Mayweather’s former sparring companion, won his latest Middle East exhibition fight. Moore had previously dominated the eight-round clash for much of Mayweather’s dominance.

Floyd Mayweather claims to have earned $100m “fake fight”

Floyd Mayweather is now the winner in his latest money-spinning show with Don Moore, his former sparring partner in the Middle East.

Moore entered the fight having won against only limited opposition. His opponent is considered one of sports’ greatest fighters. The legend’s class prevailed despite being beaten by limited opposition for eight rounds.

The 45-year old was thrilled with his display and announced a second exhibition with an opponent. “I would like to thank everybody in the UAE, the media, and everybody who covered this fight. This is one of the best country’s in the world,”Mayweather stated after the fight.

“Don Moore is still undefeated, we are both still undefeated. I will bring another fight back to the UAE this year. It’s a secret. I don’t want to let the cat out the bag right now. But we have an opponent, and I choose the UAE.”

Conor McGregor defeated Mayweather, and Mayweather took his retirement from the sport. He has since started a career in exhibition boxing. Before taking on Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nagawa, Mayweather was also defeated. He then took on YouTube star Logan Paul.

The fight started with a clear skill-gap as both boxing icons used their speed and quick reflexes early on. Later, he enjoyed putting on a show and winked at the camera. He called for three minutes rounds at the halfway point.

In the fifth round, the American won his most promising combinations while engaging in a series entertaining gestures such as dancing with the ring girls or talking with the commentary team.

Moore managed to survive eight rounds despite being beaten by Mayweather in just 30 seconds. His most lucrative night was exactly the same as his previous exhibition. Both men were able to hug the last bell.

The boxing legend is now open to further exhibitions. He is believed to have earned about $100 million for this latest win. After the two discussed an exhibition fight in Middle East, Amir Khan could be next.

Anderson Silva, who was dominant against Bruno Machado, set up a match with YouTuber Jake Paul. The Brazilian was a force, scoring a knockdown in the middle of the fight. It is not clear if Paul would like to host a high-profile bout against him.

Badou Jack was able to make a successful comeback to the ring by defeating Hany Atiyo in 47 seconds. Katie Taylor’s former opponent Delfine persoon also won points victory over Elhem Mekhaled. She was aiming to win the WBC Silver title, which will allow her to return to the world title hunt.
