Two weeks prior Spider-Man, There’s No Way HomePremiered, Marvel boss Kevin Feige confirmed Charlie Cox’s role as Daredevil within the MCU. “If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil,”Feige stated at the time. “Where we see that, how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen.”Every Spider-Man fan knew by then about the rumors claiming Cox would appear in Spider-Man. No Way Home. These rumors were denied by the actor in interviews prior to the premiere. And No Way Home delivered.
Fans want to see Marvel resurrected now that Daredevil has joined the MCU. Daredevil. Marvel has not yet made any announcements. But rumors say we’ll see Cox playing Matt Murdock/Daredevil in several exciting MCU adventures, including Spider-Man 4. Keep this in mind: Below are some spoilers.
The return of Daredevil
While the Charlie Cox cameo wasn’t a well-kept No Way Home secret, the Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) appearance in HawkeyeIt was better protected. In just a few days, Marvel revived two fan-favorite Marvel characters that weren’t part of the MCU.
Netflix Daredevil show was incredibly popular, which is probably why Marvel decided to bring Cox and D’Onofrio back. It’s not just Daredevil that fans loved. D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk was also a highlight of the show. With that in mind, we’ve yet to find out whether the Netflix series is MCU canon. Previous reports No Way HomeMarvel wanted to soft reboot the character, said Marvel. The studio would reuse the same characters and some character development from Netflix without incorporating those stories directly into MCU.
Marvel can do what it wants with Netflix properties thanks to the multiverse. These stories can be considered alternate universes. But those alternate universes can be quite similar to the MCU’s main timeline. That’s how you’d get familiar Daredevil and Kingpin characters in the MCU. They may look and sound similar to the Netflix versions. Marvel could use them to create new stories.
We’ll see Daredevil everywhere in the MCU
But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. It’ll be a few years until the first standalone DaredevilFans are likely to be patient as the MCU’s project continues.
The good news is that Marvel will reportedly use Charlie Cox’s Daredevil “everywhere”You can still do it. That’s what a Murphy’s Multiverse source told the blog a few months ago when asked about Cox’s future in the MCU. The same source apparently confirmed Daredevil’s return to the MCU back in December 2020.
Blog noted that Daredevil could appear in MCU properties. The list includes She-Hulk, Echo, Armor Wars, Spider-Man 4Daredevil. Rumours suggest that these cameos may be more than mere cameos.
Daredevil appearing in EchoGiven the relationship between Kingpin and Echo (Alaqua Cox), this makes the most sense. Also, we’d expect Marvel and Sony to put Daredevil in Spider-Man 4The events of No Way Home. Feige has confirmed that the next Spidey movie will be made. And Spider-Man (Tom Holland) stayed in New York, which means he’ll roam the same streets that Daredevil protects.
A large number of people are also interested in this product. She-HulkRecent leaks claimed that Matt Murdock would face Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), in the TV series. According to a leak, both characters could be romantically involved. However, nothing is confirmed.
