Crestline Christian Camp Burglary leads to 3 arrests

Recent arrests were made by the authorities in connection with a burglary which took place at Crestline’s Christian Camp in July.

The Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station was contacted about a burglary at the Thousand Pines Christian Camp located in the 300 block of South Thousand Pines Road near Lake Gregory on July 20.

Multiple items were stolen from a room at the camp, which were estimated to be worth about $1,200, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department stated in a news release.

Surveillance video showed that the suspect was identified. This led to deputies obtaining a search warrant from the Valley of Enchantment for a residence located in the 300 block of Forest Circle.

Deputies served a warrant on July 31 to contact Patrick Stoops (38), Ian McCann (29), and John Fridley (67).

Items from the burglary were found at the location along with methamphetamine, fentanyl and drug paraphernalia, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

Stoops was taken into custody and charged with possession of stolen property, and possession of narcotics.

He is currently being held under $25,000 bail.

McCann was taken into custody and charged with possessing drug paraphernalia. Fridley, on the other hand, was taken into custody and cited as possessing a controlled substance.

Anyone with further information about this case is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Department at 909-336-0600.
