Cop stops Car to Arrest Driver. Little Girl from the Car goes to her Partner with tears in Her Eyes.

After a conversation with a child, David Snively from the Morrow Police Department felt his heart ripped out. What did they discuss? Let’s find the answer.

Police officers work one of the most emotionally draining and physically demanding jobs on the planet. Police officers often have to leave their home without knowing what they can expect each day.

David Snively, Interim Chief of Police, answered the call from an officer seeking to arrest a driver. He didn’t know that he would leave the scene with his emotions high.

Snively led the Morrow Police Department, which responded to a call for assistance in an arrest. The police arrived on the scene to find that the suspect had become aggressive during a routine traffic stop.

The situation that should have led to a simple compromise between police officers and drivers turned into an argument after the latter refused instructions.

The police could not resist arresting him but found that a little girl and her mom were in the car with the suspect. Snively observed that the little girl’s mother was crying while she spoke with officers.

The chief police officer, worried for the little girl, knelt and consoled him. Snively answered her questions and tried his best to explain the situation.

Unknown to the interim chief of police and the little girl dressed in a floral print gown, a member from the community took their photos as they were being taken. engagedEach other.

The police department later uploaded the photo to social media. They captioned it with an explanation about how Snively tried comforting the girl, and explained the situation to her. They also added a caption explaining how Snively tried to comfort the girl and explain the situation to her. Not noted:

“Interactions like this happen every day, at every level of our department, and we’re proud that a community member thought to take this picture and share it with us!”

Snively posted on his LinkedIn page a post explaining the events between him and the girl. He said that the whole situation broke his heart.

The interim police chief said that the girl approached him confidently and tried her best to not cry. After he was arrested, she asked him if his boyfriend, the suspect, would ever return home. Snively was moved by the question of the little girl.

The chief of police assured the little girl that the suspect was safe, and would be returning home soon. The little girl nodded after hearing the assurance and began to sob, wrapping her arms around Snively.

Snively also didn’t know that someone had taken their photo, as it was sent to him only hours later. Snively declared then that he had witnessed many things in his lifetime that were beyond his comprehension.

Although he admitted to having experienced many failures and disappointments, the Interim Police Chief said that his only constant throughout all of this was that he knew his purpose in life.

Snively believed God placed him in the right situation to fulfill his purpose: To comfort and reassure the little boy. He felt secure that the little girl had helped him more than he could.

The incident attracted many reactions online, and shed light on the positive impact of police officers on the community, especially since they have been under fire recently for unfortunate incidents.
