Conor McGregor compares Tony Ferguson’s squashed face to chicken nuggets after KO

Conor McGregor was quick to trolling Tony Ferguson, after the UFC star had been brutally knocked out.

Ferguson was knocked facefirst onto the mat after he took a front kick on his chin during the second round in his lightweight match with Michael Chandler at UFC 274. After a CT scan, Ferguson was released from the hospital.

McGregor, who had previously managed Ferguson’s company, used social media to make a comparison between Ferguson’s face and a chicken nugget. McGregor was previously known as Ferguson “McNuggets”He and he teased that they would fight at some point in their UFC careers.

The Irishman quickly mocked the star and tweeted: “Tony had some great nuggets in the media build up. Then he got punt kicked to the chin and got turned into a nugget himself. That’s crazy.”He posted later a picture of Ferguson during the fight, with the caption: “If you pulled that out of a McDonald’s bag you’d dip it in sauce and eat without a moments thought. No doubt. That would pass as a legitimate McDonald’s chicken nugget. That’s crazy!”

Since McGregor left Paradigm Management, Ferguson and McGregor have had a difficult relationship. McGregor responded on social media to Ferguson’s last week tirade at fighters he claimed receive preferential treatment by UFC president Dana White.

“Tony Ferguson, who changes representation around four times a year, is saying it’s someone else fault he is in the position he is in,”He wrote. “How many bridges do you burn before you look yourself in the mirror and say “maybe it’s me that’s the issue” God bless you pal, I’ll say a prayer.”

Ferguson now has lost four consecutive fights after previous losses to Justin Gaethje, Charles Oliveira and Beneil Dariush. He is now out of contention to fight for the lightweight title shot after five defeats against Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Oliveira dominated Gaethje during the UFC 274 main events to ensure that he gets the chance to challenge for the vacant 155lb title. McGregor, Chandler, and Islam Makhachev are all in contention for the belt.
