According to Anaheim Police Department officials, Saturday night’s death was caused by a gunshot in a drive-by that appeared to be linked with gang activity.
Police responded to a call about a shooting at the 1100 block N. Acacia Street. The boy was found with at least one gunshot injury by officers upon arrival.
He was immediately transported by ambulance to the hospital and then taken into surgery. However, he died just before 11:59 p.m.
