In April, the show revealed that it would be moving to Disney+ in Seasons 31-32 (via Deadline) — a major transition for the competition series. Recent production changes have changed the show’s dynamic over the past seasons. Following the firings of Erin Andrews and Tom Bergeron, Tyra Banks took over as host. Fans still have mixed feelings. Rigsby has now spoken out about Banks’ former ABC role.
“Tyra, I feel like was such a polarizing figure. Either you loved her as a host or people were sometimes mad about it. I don’t know. She was great,”Rigsby said Us Weekly. “It was so iconic meeting her and she was such a lovely person, so if she wants to do the job, I hope she’s back. If she doesn’t, then somebody else.”
