Bindi Irwin has made a permanent tribute to three people who have been very important in her life. On Thursday, the Wildlife Warrior unveiled two new tattoos to honor her father Steve Iriwn. He died in 2006 from stingray attacks at 44 years old. Grace Warrior and Chandler Powell were also honored.
Irwin posted the new ink to Instagram. She shared photos of the tattoos separately and explained their significance. Opening up about the first tattoo — which featured the words “graceful warrior” and an alligator on her forearm — Irwin revealed that the words now inked onto her skin are the very words she “spoke to our daughter as I held her for the first time in my arms… That’s how her name was born.”She shared with us that she wrote the phrase in her father’s handwriting. “to keep him with me, always,”Add that “our dear alligator, Daisy, is next to these words to represent our conservation work as Wildlife Warriors.”

These tattoos were created more than ten years after Irwin lost her father.
