Amber HeardAn alleged attack by Johnny Depp She claims that she was left with a bloody lips. Her lawyers tried to prove the injury with a photograph, but the judge rejected it. TMZ however has the photo. Depp’s press team denies that the photo is consistent with her allegations.
Heard stated in her testimony that Johnny had struck her in the mouth during an argument. “I was in one of these fights, I believe it’s this one, in his downtown ECB, we call it, loft, and we’re in the kitchen living room area and he backhands me.”
She continued, “And, you know, it was, you know, he wears a lot of rings. I remember kind of just feeling like my lip went into my teeth, and it got a little blood on the wall. Just that simple, a little bit of blood on the wall.”
We have Heard’s photo of the incident that she claims she took, which shows what appears like a cut to her lip. “I shall return xxx”… A note Depp said she left behind.
It’s the exact same photo Heard’s legal teams wanted to show jurors. But Depp’s team objected, claiming Amber’s lawyers hadn’t submitted the photo during the discovery stage of the case. Depp’s lawyers were supported by the judge, and the photo was not admitted into evidence.
Now Depp’s Team tells TMZ… The photo is from 2012 — TMZ sees the metadata, and we confirm that — but Amber’s Witness Statement in the UK Defamation Case stated that Amber was a witness who said that the first violent incident took place in 2013, one year after the alleged photo of bloody lips was taken.
Amber was told by a source that she mishandled her dates in the UK case. Once she obtained her therapist records, she discovered that the alleged abuse she suffered from Johnny began in 2012, so it makes sense why the photo was taken at such a convenient time.
The photo and alleged incident, however, are only two examples of the numerous physical violence allegations Heard and Depp have made against one another throughout the trial.
Remember that Amber’s claims were made by Johnny’s team They have evolvedWith “new and convenient details”Over the years, and she was “preparing to give the performance of her life in this trial.”
Amber will be returning to the stand on May 16, after which the case will be in recess.
Amber’s spokesperson did not respond to our inquiry about the photo.
