I was asked by a follower if there will ever be another. “Guardians of the Galaxy” movie on Saturday, director-writer James Gunn gave some solid updates. He replied on Twitter, writing, “We finished shooting the Holiday Special this week (out this Christmas). We finish shooting Vol 3 in about a week (out in May [2023]).”

Gunn responded to these updates with a GIF from Michael Cera. “Arrested Development” character, George Michael Bluth, collapsing from exhaustion — no doubt a bit of a glimpse into just how much the director is actually doing at once. Separate TweetHe also provided more details about the “The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special,” which remains a bit of a mystery Marvel project for fans. Gunn confirmed that the special is part the Marvel Cinematic Universe canon. Gunn said the story is set between “Thor: Love and Thunder,”Set for release July 8th “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.”

Fans should find this exciting news. “Thor: Love and Thunder”Already includes the Guardians of the Galaxy. Multiple characters, including Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord appear in the first trailer. It could end up like that “The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special”The MCU universe is more important than its comical origins would indicate.
